KIRSTY LOSES IT!

Kirsty Milczarek will soon be competing on a level playing field after she lost her claim in the Owl Nursery Handicap at Lingfield.
Very few female riders get to this point in her career but Milczarek has enjoyed a stunning season and earned the support of many decent trainers.
She got the leg-up on the Nick Littmoden-trained Ruby Tallulah (4-1), unlucky several times already this term, but Milczarek produced her just in time to steal the contest from Red Cell close home.
“That’s the end of my claim, so after three days’ grace the hard work begins,” said the jockey. “I’ve ridden 58 winners this year, and there’s been some good competition between myself and (leading female rider) Hayley Turner.
“I’m very pleased.”
