Ok the 1st at ...
Southwell 1.40 ...
Day Du Roy has dropped 7lb for his last run, where he was running 7lb out the h/cap proper taking on opposition 33lb his superior, so had an insurmountable task trying to concede 40lb to his rivals!
Although to taste victory in the last 2 Years he returns to a course where successful in the past (off 40lb higher when with Jonjo O'Niell) and is now off his lowest ever mark dropping into this grade.
Last win (off 11lb higher) was on good going where he had Kercabellec around 76 length in arrears and any drying of the ground will be in his favour!
At industry odds of 20/1
We will take the betfair price 1/2 point @ 25/1 to win & 1/2 a point @ 11/2 to place!! minus 1 point
Barton Sun (fav) looks better at 16fl and looks too short in the betting and could be worth a small Lay bet! plus 1 point levels on the race

FONTWELL 4.00 ... FINZI @ 18/1
Hazeljack goes for a repeat win in this event off 8lb higher than last season, but stays all day and has 2 wins here to his credit, but is getting on at 14 Yrs Old.
Finzi has a 10lb swing in the weights with Monzon from his repeat attempt in the Southern National on his 1st run back this season, and Monzon has been showing signs of temperament trying to pull himself up and has even refused.
Finzi won the Southern National at this trip here 16 months ago off 3lb lower and was given a steep rise in the weights. He is now back to a mark where he can be competitive and 18/1 looks way overprice in my opinion. He has to put a few disappointing runs behind him but had excuses lately as when hampered on heavy going, and was outclassed (from 27lb out the weights) in the Totesport Becher Chase in November on his 2nd run back this season.
Enroblim Top is improving and is lightly raced, and has sound claims if his run in the Kent National, behind Victor Dartnall's Midlands Grand National winner Russian Trigger is taken at face value, but he was in off a low weight that day and has 21lb more on his back today, but couldn't be totally discounted and will cross all 3 for combination T/C!
Victor Dartnall runs Le Briar Soul here who is 7lb worse off with the selection from their encounter in December, yet it's interesting he runs the gelding here off 17lb lower than when contesting the Midlands National last Year and will rate him the danger and the choice for a small stakes reverse F/C.
Finzi ... win & place 3rd ... but non runners only 2 places!
Le Briar ... Soul rev F/C
Enroblim Top ... combo T/C minus 2 points

NAVAN 4.35 ... PINK SUITCASE /ROSSBEIGH
Pink Suitcase has it to prove at the trip but his 5th behind Made In Taipan (Arkle 4th) and Northern Alliance (Jewson 4th ) looks decent enough form.
Rossbeigh had the form boosted with Bit Of A Devil winning earlier on this card!
1/2 point each.... minus 1 point
FONTWELL 5.30 ... OSOKENDA
Osokenda finished one place behind Ping Pong Sivola on her final outing last season and although well beaten has a lowly mark (85) to work on in her 1st H/cap considering PPS is now running off 120 plus ....... 1 point win @ 19.5
minus 1 point
