LINGFIELD 4.50 ... SRI KUANTAN @ 7/1
Was running off 10lb higher last season and back on the course for only 2 successes at his prefered distance/winning trip.
Would suggest 1/2 point win @ 7/1 and 1/2 point F/C with (fav) Prince Charlemagne to beat it!
2nd minus 1 point

SOUTHWELL 4.10 ... DAN BUOY @ 9/2
Dan Buoy was given a mark of 120 after winning his 1st ever Hurdle start in the Jewson Qualifier(2007) when with Alan King.
He eventually finished a 5 length 5th in the Jewson that Year off 3lb higher than today, and has raced mostly at 3 miles since joining current yard.
Handles most ground and will find this easier than the Class3-4 H/caps he normally contests and was rated around 20lb superior to likely favourite 'Valiant Shadow' on the flat!.
He ran well in the Pertemps Hurdle (qualifier) in November off 10lb higher than today so he is arguably well treated on that effort.
The drop in trip should pose no problem as there looks to be pace in the race, and his stamina should see him through.
1 point win ...

LIGFIELD 3.50 ... SEDUCTIVE WITCH @ 33/1 Industry odds ... 50/1 Betfair
Green Velvet looks one to swerve at prohibitive odds as she has struggled at this trip in the past.
Seductive Witch finished 1 & 1/2 length 5th place at this venue, behind the 74 rated 'What Katie Did' last March off 9lb higher.
Trainer not exactly banging the winners in but will hit form soon and this looks too well treated to ignore. Did win off slightly higher last Febuary, and was running in better company at the end of the season. Returns to a more realistic level for his comeback and stablemate Scholar's Lass could be the one to set the pace up, or steal the race!
At the current odds would suggest 60% of stake to win @ 50/1 and 40% of stake to place at 9/1 on Betfair.
Eddie Ahern has a decent strike rate for the yard and this looks his best chance of bagging a winner from only Two rides today.
2 & 1/2 length 5th minus 1 point
