The 1st of today's selected races was ran as expected with For Life & We Have A Dream taking up the running from their stands rails stalls, and basically set things up for those racing prominently just behind the pace.
Buxton ran better than we assessed getting a clear run and was just collared at the line by Fergus Sweeney on Rash Judgement who had previously only a 2Yr Old Auction Stakes win to his resume. He had contested some good company last season and again went well reunited with this jockey.
Spencer did his usual on Hustle and got himself in a uncompromising position from a decent draw and Vhujon also didn't get the clearest of passages either.
A close finish with only 2 length between the first 5 home but not good enough costing a 2 point loss for the bank .
Our 2nd selected race gained a 15 point profit for the 1 point stake invested, and pulled back the losses from the earlier contest when David England gave Wun Chai a confident ride from start to finish, and made full use of the geldings ability and liking for this course.
The 2nd Richard's Sundance, (who we overlooked slighty to be honest) ran an excellent race on this quicker going than he normally runs on, and this opens his options for the future.
Being embroiled in facts N figures for the last month or so we were forgetting there is no racing tomorrow and may have suggested 1 point E/W on Wun Chai (Just Kidding) but a good 13 point profit for today and with no racing it means a welcome day off from the form studying and time to relax for a change and recharge.
So wherever you are in the world hopefully we get some nice weather!
Nice day Anthony. It's the sign of a real tough player to make a profit on the day...and to hold on to those earned profits.
ReplyDeleteWe both seem to be in a nice rhythm of losing a little, winning a little, and sometimes winning big...a great combination.
Thanks Zappi,
ReplyDeleteDone some hours in doing the research but it appears to be paying off nicely with nearly 100 points profit in the last 8 days. Hoping to double it before the holidays... We'll see how it goes ;)
