Sunday' Sinner's

HEXHAM 3.50 ... NEVERTIKA
Nervertika , a regular at this level and better, drops in grade here having been taking on group performers/winners in Class2 H/caps lately.
Richie McGrath a regular pilot for this horse and won here on heavy going on him the last time the gelding ran in this grade, where he ran up a hatrick in Novices Chases after previously going down around 2 & 1/2 lengths in a Haydock Hurdle (Class 2) off this mark.
If he can run to the form of his 2nd to Peter Bowen's Serabad in November he should have no trouble giving weight to these.
Sue Smith's Flake had the form of his run behind Prince Taime boosted with that one finishing 2nd to Sunnyhill Boy in the Silver Cross Handicap Hurdle (listed) at Aintree midweek, and though his best lately has been on flatter tracks could not be discounted to be there alongside at the finish.
Corkage goes better on this ground but may just struggle off this mark in this better company.
Mini Minster twice a winner here looks up against it off her highest ever mark.
Political Paddy got the run of the race last time out to score a surprise win and looks to want softer going on past form.
The Shy Man won well at Sedgefield 2 seasons back so should handle the undulations here, but looks best for the minors on our ratings.

Nevertika 1 point win non runner
Flake 1/2 point Rev/F/C
minus 1 point
