MUSSELBURGH 4.50 ... NUSOOR 1/2 pt E/W @ 20/1 S.James ... 16/1 Generally

Peter Grayson is yet to emerge from the clouds as he is without a winner in over 8 months so today's selection could be considered very speculative to say the least.
This one however could have sneaked in under the radar, as when teaming up with Duran Fentiman they have a 100% record here and this is his only ride for the trainer at the meeting today.
Nusoor has around a 30% strike rate to place in all his previous outings and looks to have a winning chance from a handicapping perspective racing off 5lb below his last winning mark which was in a grade higher where he led from the off.
He has a decent pitch to employ similar tactics and off 7lb below the start of the season in a class4 h/cap this represents a good drop in class.
His only previous run here at Musselburgh was in a class4 h/cap which resulted in a 4th place finish. He didn't get the best of runs from a low draw that day, yet was only 2.5 length away at the line.
That was off 11lb higher on Good, Good to Firm ground so faces similar conditions today and if hitting the gates running we should have a chance to collect.
Thunder Bay is extremelly well h/capped but what a frustrating horse and is no value IMO!!

Nusoor ... 1/2 point E/W @ 20/1
