Summary of Results

With the withdrawal of the likely pace angle 'For Life' after he bolted up the field the race took on a different picture with Earlsmedic able to dictate things and he led start to finish.
It looked a bit slow early on, and the final time was around 1/2 a second just outside standard ,which on Gd/Firm going confirmed it as being so.
Not great by any means but better than the loss incurred over the last week, and considering only 7 runners went to post and the drift to 16/1 we were fortunate to get 1/4 instead of 5th the odds.
No excuses as we played the E/W and got the 1.5 point profit return for the stake played to recoup a little on the account and its onwards we go.

Update on Evening Selection @ 20.42

Edgeworth appeared to be going well on the outside of the pack 2fl from home, but when the final push came he wandered about under pressure and found nothing.
A real disappointment to end the day 1/2 point to the good but better than a total loss.
