Won the King George V Stakes as a 3Yr Old on gd/fm and had a decent hurdle career for Richard Guest.
Tim Pitt got a Chester Cup win out of him in 2006 off 35lb higher, and he struggled after in competitive staying races before joining Stuart Parr after a 2Yr absence.
He has dropped a massive 31lb since April for some uninspiring efforts in 2 mile plus staying contests lately where he has led up to this distance.
Has always gone better carrying lower weights and the 1st time blinkers could sharpen hm enough to take advantage of his declining mark.
Risky but off this rating worthy of a 1/2 point wager.
Later update for Royal Hunt Cup!!

David Nicholl's has his normal group of 4 runners for a tilt atanother big pot but the one I like is Jack Junior who ran in the St James' Palace as a 3yr old.
Hit with a rating 13lb higher than today for that effort dissapointed afterward in the Darley Stakes and tried mainly on the All Weather since leaving Brian Meehan.
Only a matter of time before this horse shows his early potential, and this straight run mile back on turf from the far rail draw could suit better than the turns of the All Weather tracks where he has been unlucky in his runs lately.

Of those who ran in this last season the 2nd place Docofthebay comes out best at the weights but looks held on recent efforts by Mias Boy and Nanton.
Nanton who in turn was well behind Manassas and has 6lb to find with Final Verse from his penultimate outing.
Lucky Dance ran a cracking race at Doncaster in the Spring Mile when 1.75 length behind Manassas in March. Has a 6lb pull for that staying on effort and though best form so far has been with cut, again ran a good race over 7fl on gd/fm going last time out when staying on best at the finish.
Lucky Dance 1/2 point E/W
