Overlooked!! @ 8/1 ??

KELSO 3.10 .. MELANGE 1 Pt @ 8/1 Bet365. S.James.

Although Melange's Selling hurdle win could look to be pie in the sky in the context of this race, it did throw up 2 next time out winners so it's not as though he beat a field of altogether no hopers.
That was only his 3rd outing for the yard who have their runners in decent order, and has met some good opposition in his last 3 events.

Melange's penultimate outing in a Class2 Novice Hurdle to Carlito Brigante/Orsipus is working out with Carlito running a credible race in the Triumph Hurdle and Orsipus in the Fred Winter.
He had finished within 6 length to Carlito previous to that in which today's contender New Tricks was a further 16 length in arrears (and is 2 points shorter in the betting??) and New Tricks got no nearer than 12 length to Orsipus next time they met.

Melange pulled up last time in what looked a strong contest for the grade (Group 2).
It could be he just didn't have what it took against the opposition as the 2nd, Soft Spoken Guy beat Hollins (Supreme Novices' Hurdle grade 1 contestant) 20 length.
Hollins won his next outing here in a Class 4 Nov Hurdle by 10 length.
The 3rd, Predictive was going for a hat trick after beating Howard Johnson's Scriptwriter around 15 lengths. (The same distance Grade 1 winner Peddles Cross beat him before going on to beat Challow Novices' Hurdle winner Reve de Sivola in the Neptune Investment Group 1 at Cheltenham.)
Fourth horse Washington Irving (rated mid 130's) and was rated 112 on the flat when running in the likes of the Yorkshire Cup (group 2) and Ascot Gold Cup (group 1) before a switch to jumping resulted in a 15 length winner of a Novice Hurdle before twice behind Bygones Of Brid.
The 5th Bishops Heir, twice a winner here where he also beat Hollins, by 10 length, was also defeated going for the hat trick.
Sixth runner Jeronimo Joe a previous 6 length winner also finished a neck second in a class4 Novice event yesterday so the form is already working out.

Obviously a risky proposition having pulled up last time, but 2 efforts prior do look good in the context of this and Melange @ 8/1 worth the risk of a 1 Pt wager.
