4 Points @ Haydock.

HAYDOCK PARK

3.40 Right Grand @ 3/1
Ran well on Southwell's slower surface winning by 6 length and followed that effort staying on over 7fl at Newmarket and the extra furlong here looks to be what he needs and should handle the going today. Paul Hanagan rides for William Haggas who has one of the better strike rates at the course.

Lost

4.10 Layla's Dancer @ 3/1
Takes on slightly lesser rated rivals, and previous runs he contested before August have thrown up numerous winners.
Another ridden by Paul Hanagan this time for main stable R.Fahey and having ran well at Ayr and Doncaster, this longer/straighter run to the line should suit better than last time out on going he is proven to handle.

3rd

4.40 King Zeal@ 7/2
Raced only 4 times in 2007 and returned this season where he won well here latest on good / soft going when given a positive ride from this jockey in an apprentice contest versus rivals rated mid 70's.
Has won 3 of last 4 since stepped up to this distance, 2 on similar going.
James Rogers been up 5 times with 3 wins, 1 place since moved from Michael Wigham and more improvement likely from this lightly raced gelding.

2nd

Playing 3 X 1Pt doubles and 1/2 Pt E/W treble

Shocking...
