Welcome back??

4:30 Folkestone ... Moose Moran @ 25/1

Moose Moran, formerly with Sir Henry Cecil on the flat running in such races as the Melrose and Queen's Vase before a stint over Hurdles with firstly Nicky Henderson, then a couple of runs for David pipe earlier this Year.

Joined Olivia Maylam where his last 2 runs in Class4 & Class3 contests respectively, has saw his mark drop a massive 20lb for those uninspiring efforts, though made most in first time visor (retained) over 14fl latest suggesting the drop to this trip looks warranted.
He also drops into Class5 company for the 1st time, and considering he was competing with rivals rated 112 off 29lb higher in a listed contest 2 seasons back, the handicapper has given him a chance today and show early expectations were justified.

Cecil's runner Romantic, or the other former Hurdler Scotbrook Cloud in his first turf handicap, could rate the dangers though the competition today have yet to prove themselves and win on turf in this grade.

With the defection of 2 of the earlier intended runners, the E/W is now down to 2 places but Moose Moran's class could certainly be worth chancing with both this drop in the ratings and grade sure to be in his favour.
