AYR 3.05 ... CAPRIOR BERE @ 20/1 bET365 ... 25/1 available places

Caprior Bere stays quite well which is usually a requisite for this 6fl at Ayr, especially with some cut in the going. Lowish draw (5) not insurmountable given he is usually held up or off the pace and comes from behind.
Penultimate run behind Magical Memory is working out really well formwise with the 4th winning next 2 outings, the 2nd also winning next 2 off 96 before running 6length behind the winner in a Group3 off 105.
Magical Memory also went on to win 2 Heritage Handicaps off 96 before a 1length 3rd in the Betfred Sprint Cup Group1 (off OR 110), to Twilight Son (OR 106) with Strath Burn a previous Group3 winner running off 106 in 2nd place.
Lastest run Caprior Bere ran over 7fl at Doncaster with what looked an improved show and runs off the same mark (86) here with Jordan Vaughan taking off 5lb. Sakhee's Return 6length behind who accounted for George Bowen previously at York.
With only 7lb between the whole field there is only Your Pal Tal carrying less weight, with jockeys allowance, but he was well beaten by George Bowen at the Curragh.
New Bidder improved lately and won its last 2 here when Blinkers were applied, but does handle cut and has won at Class3 level as a 3Yr old.
Last years 3rd, My Name Is Rio looks held by Adam's Ale on last run and is now 6lb higher.
Adam's Ale, who would be my selection for the F/Cast, is closely matched with Signora Picollo when said not to face the cheekpieces at Doncaster in July, but has Philip Makin in the saddle who rode well here yesterday bagging a treble.
Likely Favourite Dragon King is lightly raced, but looks too short @ 11/2 off 5lb higher than last win up another grade.
