Walton Way is now back on his last winning mark having been taking on better opposition his 3 outings this season. Byron Moorcroft who has partnered him on 3 previous outings has the ride and his 7lb claim will no doubt be beneficial on this soft going. His latest form figures look uninspiring but going back to last spring he was finishing in the places to horses rated around the 107 mark. His 3/4 length 2nd behind Arceye at Chepstow off 4lb lower under this jockey looks encouraging, as Arceye went on to win his next start here in this grade by 19 lengths and then finished a short head 2nd here in a class4 his next outing. Will surely have to keep his jumping together but granted a clean round I can see him being there at the finish!! A line of form through Spanchill Hill would bring Orion Star into the equation, and he is lightly raced enough to improve in a race that shouldn't take much winning!
