Summary of Results

Cape Vale ran ok for the 1st outing of the season and although looking to have every chance in the last 2 furlongs where a bit of scrimmaging took place, he didn't look like the winner when all said and done.
Jaconet ran a different race having missed the start slightly and had to come from behind, but always travelled nicely and won well against the boys.
She will surely go in again over this trip and possibly further.
When the odds allow like today, it meant we still got value backing the 2 to collect 4 . 5 points profit for the investment.

Raucous ran as thought, and took the lead from the off to be there all the way until the field closed in the last furlong. He wasnt unlucky, he just did all the work setting the pace for those behind and had the race won at 1.4 mile but didnt stay on this occasion, and cost 1 point loss to the total.
Gordonsville looked a contender on paper, but his 11 previous 2nd places and a maiden win didn't read too well for the win purpose yet he proved us wrong and got a strong pace which appeared to suit his style and looked a comfortable winner.
He wont always get things run to suit.

With 3 . 5 points profit gleaned for today it's a step in the right direction to Nose Ahead.
