On what looks a mediocre days Racing a look through the runners for the 3.30 at Bath I believe has unearthed a contender to take on the likely favourite Kyllachy Storm.
He (Kyllachy) only beat 63 rated rivals at best and the same can be said for his previous win here when beating even lesser rated rival again.
Kyllachy Storm who at 2/1 will probably go off as short as 6/4 in my opinion, is 7lb higher than last time and 13lb higher than winning here in that 0-58 event.
Music Box Express for one, has a 12lb pull for a 1.75 length deficit from their Wolverhampton encounter in October last season yet should he be a 25/1 shot?
From a handicap perspective M.B.Express looks to have a chance but on the declared going, although placed on the All Weather, he has been last on 2 occasions with soft in the description, but off 8St 3lb could give them a go if getting a soft lead.
Kyllachy Storm ran an encouraging race behind Brunellecschi in between the 2 Bath wins with Fromsong (8lb better here) 2.75 length in arrears, but Fromsong's best effort on softer going is around 7 Yrs ago and he is getting on at 11Yrs Old.
Diane's Choice is the one who gets my attention as she ran a 1.5 length 2nd to Pretty Bonnie giving her 11lb last August.
Pretty Bonnie has won 3 since in better races than this and finished a close 3rd (off 85) to Ponty Rossa in a class 3 yesterday giving that one 4lb where the nearest pursuers were 5 length adrift.
Although to win 1st time out, the last 2 seasons Diane's Choice has been returning off 17lb higher than today, and was last season racing in some decent grade h/caps.
She finished within a length to The Jobber (rated a Stone higher than the ceiling for this) on good ground at Yarmouth off 4lb higher so now back to her last winning mark, this could be the time to catch her.
Priced to go E/W if Prudent.
