Having just arrived home after being dragged round what turned into a shopping bonanza, (do women not realise shops are open every day and you can call back if you forget something?) my day wasn't made any brighter when checking the results!
I cant comment on the running of today's selections as I need to view the replay but with a 2 point loss it wont make happy viewing.
Exit Smiling didn't appear to have been anywhere near winning reading the race result so not even a grimace there.
Obviously William Haggas had Tanto Faz well forward for his 1st run back, and for only his 2nd outing against his elders has plenty room for improvement so could well be one to follow.
I see Caranbola came in for massive support to go off @ 6/1 so all the 20/1 advised was snapped up, which to be honest, I thought perhaps 12/1 - 14/1 would have been the minimum available she would start at, so unless some of you are having really large sums on, I can only assume connections were having a good go.
Ultimately she appears to have been well beaten in the end, to our disappointment, and we endure a step backward today.
