Summary of Results

The 1st of today's runners Killard Point appeared to be going well until losing his place at the 9th, and lost interest thereafter and was pulled up costing 1 point. The joys of Jumps Racing!!

Our 2nd selected race was ran as predicted, with Cape Vale making the early running as expected, but with Adrian Nicholl's taking over from Adele Mulrennan, the 7lb claim wasn't in effect and could possibly have cost the trainer the 1st three home.
Machinist was freely available @ 10/1 in the morning so where I got the 8/1 from when sending out the Text service is a mystery? but gladly you got the 10/1 on offer and so far 9 points to the good.

Stanley Goodspeed ran a promising 1st race on turf this season and came in for good early support to open on course 16/1 and and go off 18/1 to finish only 2.5 length off the winner.
Although the value of 25/1 advised was achieved, I have said before 'There is no value in a loser' and we lost 1 point in the outcome.

Magic Echo ran an excellent race back on this easier going, and even though lumping top weight, possibly could have won with an earlier move, having had to be pulled round the outside to make her final challenge the winner had got 1st run and a smoother passage through the inside of the pack.

Overall a much happier outcome from the last 2 weeks and another 8 points profit to negate this months deficit to a 1/2 point loss.

In hindsight, had I sent out Magic Echo as a definite (E/W) selection we would be looking at 2 points profit for the month but Foresight is the way forward and its early days yet!!
