Tour d'Amour travelled out wide all the way round the horseshoe bend and was under the whip and hard at work 4fl from home.
He either didn't handle the going or was a spent force when push came to shove but didn't appear to be enjoying it and was able to come home in his own time when the jockey knew his chance was over.
