TUESDAY'S SELECTION'S

LEICESTER 4.30 ... NORTHERN EMPIRE @ 7/1
Kevin Ryan's gelding was having his 1st run back on turf since last Autumn, in the seller he won last time with the cheekpieces applied and they are retained here.
Last previous turf win was as a 2Yr Old, where-after he was crippled with a h/cap rating of 107 when finishing 2nd to Ivan Denisovich in the July Stakes.
Should have no excuses on the declared fast ground and was racing in Class2 & 3 h/caps last season off 24lb higher than today.
The form has been franked of his latest success, and If the recent win has boosted confidence he could easily follow up off this mark (37lb below his peak) in a grade more within his comfort zone.
Make My Dream, Mambo Spirit and Drifting Gold look best of the rest.

REDCAR 3.10 ... TOUR d'AMOUR @ 16/1
A few unexposed runners in here but none to look exciting prospects and many have it to prove at the trip or on the grass.
Efidium is one with good track form and should hold Island Music on previous running's here but is getting on and never won past a mile.

This won't take much winning for the grade and likely favourite Sarwin @ 100/30 looks one to take on after beating rivals rated 60 tops last time out.

Tour d'Amour has been a regular at this track since joining Ray Craggs and accomplished 5 places from 7 visits, the last of them over 1 furlong further than today when 4lb out the h/cap proper.
He returned from a 14 week break and ran a promising race at Newcastle on gd/soft going last time out, again over 10 furlongs and should find this drop to 9fl and quicker going more suitable. Again runs out the h/cap and trainer form a bit for concern as only had 2 runners out this season with no success, but this one was taking on rivals rated in the high 70's as a 3Yr Old here.
Island Music I have as the danger to what looks a value selection for a return.
