No selections Sunday as I have decided to stay away from the racing altogether today.
This month historically for me has always been profitable in past seasons and Ascot's June meeting especially being one of my best sources of income in past Years.
5 figures last June was the highlight of an excellent Ascot for me and gave me what I would consider a Years profit in 30 days alone, so nothing from this Year's meeting is bitterly disappointing after the previous season, but it was always going to be a hard act to follow!
Only going into the 4th month for this Year's flat racing there is enough time to make amends for what I admit is a dire return for June, and being relatively new to this tipping game I have learned a few good lessons this past month.
I know a few of you have been along for the ride from around March/April since I went into the public domain, and even accounting for increasing your stakes are still 80 points or so in profit, but I know I should have achieved more for not only myself but for you Guys also.
I have possibly been spending too much time in front of the computer, and not seen the wood for the trees. Perhaps I have been trying too hard to get the obvious winners beat when they have been staring me in the face. (Giganticus being one!)
I have a lot more I could add but will leave it there for now, and start afresh tomorrow with a clearer head and hopefully a clearer path forward to continue to NoseAhead!
