CARLISLE RACES

CARLISLE 3.05 ... DESTINY'S DREAM @ 25/1 Generally
Not long been with Tracy Waggott with only 5 runs for her, but trainer in fine form.
This drop to a mile shouldn't hinder too much as she has won by 4 length over 7fl and gone close the 3 times at this distance.
Has been running over further lately which should assure her stamina for this stiff finish and both wins been on top of the ground.
Ran Gala Casino Star rated a stone higher (stablemate of Sunnnyside Tom) within 4 lengths off this mark last summer which reads well against her chances of the Fahey runner.
Phillip Makin been aboard her last 3 outings and he jumps ship to ride Celtic Change, but having the majority of his rides for the Dodds Stable that's understandable.
Jamie Kyne a very able substitute and claims a valuable 5lb and is as hungry as ever for winners with 11 wins & 23 places in the last month alone.
Drawn midfield but normally breaks well and travels smoothly in her races and looks to be some value for an E/W wager @ 25/1 generally available.

CARLISLE 3.35 ... CELTIC STEP @ 25/1 Bet365, Hills, P.P. Boyles

Celtic Step would have needed the comeback run which wouldn't have suited on the soft ground but went well for a long way before lack of race fittness took toll.
On his final outing last season here on soft going, he was giving Wind Shuffle 11lb and just failed by a short head.
Wind Shuffle gives Celtic Step 5lb today, so Celtic has a 16lb pull in his favour for a short head.
From a handicapping perspective Wind Shuffle (joint 2nd favourite in the betting) should have no chance if Celtic runs to that form yet is a Quarter the Odds??
Major Magpie also has a 12lb advantage this time but only has 2lb over Celtic Step for as many lengths but could also go well for last years winning stable.
Another for the Dodds Stable is top weight kiwi Bay, ridden by last years winning jockey which confuses matters somewhat, but Celtic Step looks really well in and worthy of a small interest.

Celtic Step 1/2 pt E/W
