Count Ceprano's jockey made light work of her good draw and basically lost the race from the start and a 1.5 point loss was incurred in the process.
Kipchak made the 1st three places but it would have been to no avail for the 2nd part of the E/W as the 8th runner, Choreographer not taking part left the dreaded 7 runners.
My quote from the end of May (Posted 29th)
"Brandywell Boy is another in the race h/capped to win but it depends on what mood he turns up in and only has a maiden win to his resume on grass from 68 starts."
I did give this consideration but decided against it for the reasons stated in the previous posting so it leaves a sour taste as he looked to win quite comfortably in the last at Newbury!
It seems I am still noticing them coming onto a winning mark but not hitting them at the right time!
