Fossgate looks on an attractive mark being 16lb lower than when 2nd in this 2 Years back and had won here by 11 length last August and he will probably go off favourite.
Sporting Gesture is another on a decent rating but at 12Yrs Old looks on the way down whereas the selection looks on the way up.
Fell Pack is one I highlighted last time as an improving sort, and after being held up midfield he won well for us.
The 2nd 'Society Venue' won next time out beating Joinedupwriting by 2.5 length (runs in the 3.00 here in a similar grade) so a good show from that one will frank the form as strong.
This lightly raced individual has a lot of improvement to come at middle distances and the way he stayed on in previous outings at Beverley over this trip the 4lb penalty looks negligible.
A small stake 1/4 point R/F/C with Fossgate could ensure a fallback to cover the stake if he consents to run to previous form here!
Come the off I wouldn't expect the 9/2 so would take B.O.G where available.

FOLKESTONE 7.20 FOREST DANE @ 6/1 Generally
There wasn't much between Who's Winning and Music Box Express on past encounters here and Who's Winning comes out slightly better of the two, but they should be playing 2nd fiddle to Forest Dane who on Class should prove too good for this lot.
Forest Dane finished 2nd here to Clive Cox's (86 rated) Pearly Way 2 seasons back in a Class 2 H/cap off 13lb higher than today so looks well handicapped running off 70 today.
He is 7lb lower than his last win here (in a 0-85) contest that same season and drops into this grade (0-70) for the 1st time on turf since 2006.
Has top weight but jockey takes off 5lb and last win here came when returning fresh so the short break can be construed a positive.

RIPON 3.30 ... GRAZEON GOLD BLEND @ 14/1 Skybet .... 9/1 General
His run here last summer off 2lb higher he was beaten 1.5 length when the field split and the winner went far side, but he is extremely well weighted here on that effort with 13lb less on his back.
He meets Excusez Moi and High Curragh on 14lb and 21lb better respectively (including jockeys claim) from their encounter here in May when missing the break so is clearly a risky proposition and will need to hit the gates running, but with only 7St 9lb to carry he gets between 7lb to 22lb from the field.
Jamie Kyne is quickly making a name for himself and is hungry for winners and trainers are quick to take advantage of his valuable claim.
He won't get to run with so little weight in the future and in my opinion worthy of a 1/2 point wager.
