Summary of Results

Angle Of Attack ran a decent enough race and he basically ran in between what I had assessed.
That doesn't make it any better to account for a 1 point loss but as I pointed out, he would either run real well or bomb out, so under the circumstances he neither totally disgraced nor looked threatening either on what turned in to a deluge of rain on the track.

It appears even the All Weather's official going is under scrutiny too!

RP official description... 8:11am Good job it's all-weather Sunday's forecast looks bleak as it is set to be cloudy with outbreaks of rain, which will become heavy for a time. Although the deluge should ease by early evening.

Approx 1.oopm Spoke to Roderick Duncan the clerk of the course, he said "He expects the going to quicken throughout the day!"

RP official description...3:08pm Conditions testing Although the race-times have stood up quite well, jockeys have described the rain-sodden ground as "hard work." Tom Queally said, "It's tough out there, and is testing to ride on."

3:57pm Racing continues Although the track is sodden, racing is set to continue. Clerk of the course Roderick Duncan said: "There is no inspection planned. The jockeys are happy to continue. "

Duncan has not changed the ground description, even though the horses are galloping through water. "The times are standing-up, so the ground remains at standard. There is no description such as 'sloppy', even though it might look as though that's what it is."

Go Figure!!
