If he breaks on terms he would stand a chance of winning this on past form, and was only outstayed on Southwell's slower going by a miler last time out but they were well clear of the rest.
His penultimate outing was in a claimer where the 2nd has won since and the 3rd was placed second on his next outing.
Could be one to watch in running as he will be staying on so may get better than the 10/1 on offer.
Not a strong selection so up to your discretion if you play.
Tonight's update around 6.00.p.m.

SANDOWN 6.45 ... ESTEEM MACHINE @ 33/1
Formerly with David Elsworth where he ran mainly at 7fl without success.
Often front runs and was always there to this distance before fading close home.
Raced last summer off 8lb higher taking on horses rated in the high 90's, again where he led most the way on fast going until being collared in the 6th furlong.
After Jimmy Styles got the better of him at Newbury 2 seasons back over 6fl, he won his 1st turf race for Roger Teal on soft going then ran 2 excellent races on firm going in 6fl Class2 H/caps getting beat close home.
His handicap mark is back to a level he can win off in this grade, and well worth a try back sprinting. With the 1st time visor fitted he could steal this if getting an early lead from what looks a decent draw in 7 on the far side.
Overlooked by the odds compilers in my opinion and worthy of a 1 point E/W wager at the 33/1 on offer!
minus 2 points
