TUESDAY'S SELECTION'S

CHESTER 8.45 ... Mandurah @ 12/1

Wasnt beaten far last time against rivals rated 22lb higher. This a 2 grade drop in class and if getting a good position could go better than his odds suggest. Bo McGinty comes out best from a race here in august against 4 of these and would be my other choice for a good run.

CHESTER 7.45 ... GALLANTRY @ 28/1
Was 2nd for the last 2 Yrs in this off similar marks and could surprise at a nice price.
A possible also for another place at a track he goes well at!

REDCAR 5.15 ACCLAIM TO FAME @ 14/1 S.James,Betfred ... 12/1 Elsewhere

Acclaim To Fame's 3 previous runs for Stuart Parr were all in class4 maidens at distances ranging from a mile, 6furlongs then 12 furlongs.
Started big prices each time until last time out over 12 furlongs, when gambled in from 80/1 to 14/1 where he ran well up to 9 furlongs only to finish last.
Not harshly treated off 49 for his handicap debut if the drop into this class6 back down to 10 furlongs and the move to Karle Burke can glean some improvement, and his previous races have all thrown up winners rated up to the mid 80's.

Also interesting is the fact Darren Williams or Andrew Elliott (rode both the favourite Ethic's Girl and Amazing Blue Sky last time out) aren't aboard, and he has Tom Eaves in the plate who is one of the top riders round here.
With only 3 runs on the flat and back against lesser opposition rated 55 at best, and from what looks a handy draw is worth an interest at the current 14/1 on offer
Acclaim to Fame 1 point

minus 1 point
