NO SELECTION TODAY

Some uninspiring stuff today and the closest I got to a selection was over the sticks in the 3.45 at Newton Abbot.
Orion Express has won both starts under Aiden Coleman this season, (his only 2 rides on the gelding) the latest on his penultimate run here in May on his first attempt at this 27fl trip.
He now races off 12lb higher but won that by 4 lengths so there could be more to come as he hasn't been fully exposed at this distance.
Even though a win not impossible now he has proven he stays, could be worth a small interest on the place market @ the current 9/4 on offer for a return today.

Nottingham 8.25 Compton Classic is one who has been dropping down the ratings and is a Stone lower in the weights since joining this stable 2 seasons back. This will be only his 4th outing on grass since then and looked to put in an improved run last time out at Bath but a closer look, those behind were hard to win with animals and the 3Yr Old winner of the race pulled the result from some poor previous efforts.

Orion Express would be the strongest, but A Non Betting day for NoseAhead!

Yesterday proved the right decision not to get involved with Phantom Whisper.
I thought he had a good chance when a selection previously in a Class 6 handicap @ 12/1 so I couldn't go backing him in a race 3 grades higher at the same price!
