I underestimated Jaconet slightly being raised 16lb for her last win here but also knew she was the one for Bond City to beat. Just in front of Bond city last time out, she upheld the form on the same terms by a similar margin.
Lucivious took up the early running from the inside stall and Bond City followed him through the contest until the home turn.
Jaconet, from the box next door also followed through and went to the right up the middle of the track and held off the late challenge from Prescription, with Bond City getting the run up the inside and holding on for third.
Nothing else looked like landing a blow.
Gladly I got the selection read right and though investing 2 points to get a 7.25 point profit I believe it was the value call in the race.
