Wild Fell Hall, admittedly was a shocking selection given the form of the trainer, but is so well handicapped on previous form it will be winning soon when in the right race.
Dressed To Dance appeared to hit a flat spot mid race and picked up again close home. He was originally an intended E/W selection but with the earlier defection of 2 of the intended 16 runners, an all or nothing bet I felt.
Regardless he eventually finished 4th (beaten under 2 length) and would have been out the places in the 14 runner field.
A 4 point loss on the day!!!!
Looking back through earlier selections it seems I am still noticing these horses who are running onto a good handicap mark.
From Selections over the past weeks, CITY OF THE KINGS, BEL CANTOR, ESTEEM MACHINE, SPIRIT OF SHARJAH, all WON since at decent prices and FYODOROVITCH, TYRELLS WOOD, GUILDED WARRIOR (Runs Today), MARAJAA, EBRAAM, all been placed at decent odds too.
Not one to follow selections to the end of their career, there has still been value in following these which would probably have made the difference between profit and loss.
After all horses are not machines and will obviously perform better under optimal conditions.
Some have had them and some have had the going go against them but I need to sit back and take a good look at my selections from now on to hopefully improve my selection process in the quest to NoseAhead.

Its a position we all find ourselves at, N/Ahead, My own selection process often finds topweights doing better and this combined with a class dropper is looking promising. G/Luck in your quest, Marker
