Doncaster Races

DONCASTER 4.20 JET D'EAU 1 pt @ 12/1 Gen

Broad Cairn looks a false favourite to me as the best he beat has been rated around the low 80's and steps up in class 2 grades. Current 2nd favourite Russian Jar fits a similar profile.
Jet D'eau already had two Group3 runs under the belt last season and would have needed her come back outing behind Bounty Box and Able Master. Able Master who franked the form going on to beat a decent field of all age handicappers at York.
Her last outing again in a group3 behind Ordnance Row (rated 107) looks stronger than anything these have contested with the 2nd and 3rd horses rated 114-115, including the Wokingham 2nd Asset who next ran undisgraced in the Betfred Sprint Cup.
Yard not firing in the winners but George Baker teamed up for the stable with Bankable in the Winter Hill Stakes to finish 2nd to Campanologist so not exactly out of form either.
This looks underestimated by the odds compilers in my opinion and worthy of a 1 point wager

Jet D'eau 1 pt @ 12/1

Jet d'Eau has been declared a Non runner at 1:54 this afternoon

For Consideration in the place market!!

DONCASTER 3.45 ABOVE LIMITS @ 18/1 Coral, 16/1 Lads , S.James

Tom Dascombe has reported this horse as his best 2 Yr Old and said she hasn't shown her best as yet.

Catherine Gannon takes the ride, presumably as regular jockey Richard Kingscote (does 8 stone) can't do the lower weight of 7St 12lb.
If breaking as normal and getting her customary flying start she will no doubt play catch me if you can.
Is normally all speed from the gates and led until the 5fl mark when running over 6fl in the Albany Stakes.
Has it to prove stepping up in class taking on her elders but she is getting upwards of 19lb from the field and could catch these unawares with her low weight.
It may be worth a small interest in the place market on the Exchanges @ 3/1 plus but one for your discretion.
