Den's Gift can front run and with Frankie up for the 1st time could be dangerous if allowed to dictate the pace, and though placed in 8 of his 16 starts away from the All Weather has yet to win on turf.
Mujood was a winner for us back in May and is a gusty front runner who is hard to pass. He does however seem to hit form earlier in the year as all his best runs have been in the early summer months.
He swaps blinkers for a visor and did win when 1st tried in one, but hasn't gone well in 12 subsequent attempts with them fitted.
Cape Hawk is 4lb better with Mujood at the weights from that previous outing here for a 1/2 length beating but has finished behind him on the 3 occasions they have ran here together.
He does have the assistance of Jimmy Fortune today who takes over from Patrick Hills from those last three times they have met and being a stronger jockey could make some difference, but hasn't fared too well in the draw and is usually seen to better over further than today's 7fl trip.
South Cape has 2 wins here from 2 starts in class2 handicaps when with Mick Channon off slightly higher marks, both in September in the last 2 seasons.
He was hampered and unseated the rider his last visit here in a class3, and had the beating of Mujood last time out at Sandown.
Cheek pieces kept in place as for his last 3 runs and Dane O'Niell looks a more positive booking for a return to this track he clearly goes well at.
Drops into this class4 for the 1st time since winning his maiden as a 2Yr Old off 5lb lower than his last win here in a class2.
