HAYDOCK 4.00 BURNING INCENSE 1 pt E/W @ 16/1 Lads, 14/1 Gen
Dropped a good 19lb since his peak when he ran mainly in Class2 company when a former inmate of Roger Charlton.
Won off 10lb higher when sporting 1st time blinkers and Philip Makin back on board who has rode all the yards winners in the last month
Has 1st time visor in an attempt to waken him up to show his true potential after running without any headgear this season over 5fl and 7fl.
This more his trip as from 22 starts at the 6 fl distance has won (twice) or placed in 11 of them.
Finished just behind Portland 2nd Everymanforhimself (giving him weight off 15lb higher) on his final outing for Roger Charlton and a line through that effort should give him the beating of Novellen Lad should the Visor have the desired effect.
With Novellen currently @ 7/2 there looks some value just to place with Burning Incense @ 16/1
Burning Incense 1 pt E/W @ 16/1 Declared a Non Runner 3.45
YARMOUTH 5.10 ROYAL PREMIER 1 pt E/W @ 12/1 Lads, SJ, Bet365, Betfred
This horse has a liking for this track and ran Mark Prescotts higher rated (OR 66) Royal Diamond all the way to the line on his penultimate outing.
Last time out behind Prescott's Rough Scetch was hampered at the 3fl pole and eased right down thereafter.
Has stamina for further having ran up to 2 mile, and with all wins at around this trip (2 wins here from 4 at this trip) the drop back to this distance sure to be in his favour.
Royal Premier 1 pt E/W @ 12/1
minus 2 points
FULL RESULT>>
Riflessione @ 12/1 could be worth a small interest in the Lingfields 4.50 as at the weights has a realistic chance of beating Merry Diva @ 7/2 and Raimond Ridge and is 3 times the price!!
