REDCAR RACES

REDCAR 5.10 KYLE 1 pt E/W @ 14/1 Gen KYSER CHIEF 1/2 pt win @ 8/1 Gen

Kyle has dropped 9lb since joining this yard and had been rated in mid 80's when with Richard Hannon taking on 90 plus rated horses at his peak. He looks the class horse here who is dropping in grade after running a good race behind Total Impact last time out.

After watching the re-run jockey (John Egan) never used the stick and appeared to be patting the horse down the shoulder in his attempt to get it home which was quite laughable as he wasn't pushed hard in that race when Egan knew he was beaten.

He was drawn on the outside in that contest and has been afflicted with the same draw here but this looks easier and the form has been franked numerous times already.

Stolt has since won, Ocean Blaze won twice, Le Toreador beat Total Impact in a rematch, and Earlsmedic ran within 2 length to Baldemar in the Ayr Bronze Cup so the form looks good. The only negative is the draw but is normally dropped in behind so could easily overcome that against this lesser opposition.

Our last time out selection Kyser Chief has the stands rail draw and wasn't beaten at all far last time, and at 8/1 is worth a saver to 1/2 a point.

minus 2.5 points
