Summary of Results

Soundbyte was soundly beaten when under the whip from 3 to 4 furlongs out, and from then he was never going to win and a 1 point loss.

I had Murcar correctly down as a loser, and really should consider laying these types to cover the stake at least.

The one I mentioned as being the main danger, Rare Ruby, only goes and wins it by nearly 3 lengths and the money coming for it proved to be right.

Onto this evenings race:

Why Oh Why ... Jilly Why?
On tuesday night I thought MANDURAH was well in for a race at Chester only to be scuppered by the draw. I knew he had to get a good position from the off there to have any chance yet only 2 days later and I ignore my own analysis from that contest, as he had failed to look even slightly competitive and he comes back and bites me on the Ar*e.

Jilly Why came out the stalls like a drunk and was hampered shortly after, and never went a leg with the 2 drawn either side of her ending up filling the places.

A pattern is emerging here looking back through older posts, where i am spotting these well handicapped types well before they are winning but backing them too early.

Another 1.5 points gone to bring the account to 2.5 point loss for today and I feel a major disappointment with my analysis of late.
