The first race had an uneven look to it which I got right and those at the head of the market were there to be taken on I thought.
Ansells Pride was close all the way on the outside but when it came down to the finish he hung out to the left and was soon in arrears. I read into it he had the beating of The Osteopath who finished 3.5 lengths behind him, but there were more in front and the first 2 apart, the field were well strung out.
Pride of Kings ran well to a point where he led until the final furlong and cried enough. Both had shortened 30% in the market which made no difference to the loss incurred and at this point I also cried enough with 3 points gone.
